Wet adhesive tape - hygienic and safe
The use of wet tape is an absolute must from a variety of factors in food packaging in our view. Wet adhesive tape is superior to conventional self-adhesive tape in terms of environmental compatibility, hygiene and safety. The use of chemicals can be completely dispensed with with wet adhesive tape. It consists entirely of natural and fully degradable substances and the glue is starch based which forms an organic compound when moistened. Thus, sensitive foods are not exposed harmful chemicals.
Wet adhesive tape is extremely safe, because unauthorised opening of cardboard boxes to remove goods or possibly also add pollutants is impossible without immediately leaving clearly visible traces. Once the wet tape has been opened, it can not be closed again. The unauthorised opening of the box is therefore immediately noticeable. This security can be reinforced by the imprint of the company logo or other distinctive markings. This security creates trust in the customer, who can rely on the goods to arrive intact.
